The National Institute of Informatics (NII) is dedicated to research in the field of informatics and information infrastructure projects, with a focus on promoting practical research and development to address societal challenges. Collaboration among industry, government, and academia is essential to achieve these goals. To further strengthen this collaboration, NII continuously shares the research results of its diverse researchers and the issues they are tackling with industry and government.

A briefing session for the entrance examination of the Informatics Program at the Graduate Institute for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI, will be held. The session will include information on application procedures and an introduction to student life by current students.
18:30-20:00
In "NII Research 100 rounds" researchers will talk about research that would usually take a long time to discuss in depth, in just 7 and a half minutes. Ten researchers will each introduce 10 projects, delivering a total of 100 discoveries in a short amount of time. This unique format is a rare opportunity to get a glimpse of the researchers' passion and individuality. Through the diverse research at NII, you will encounter new discoveries and interesting research that you would not normally see. Why not experience the excitement and fascination of NII research for yourself?

The Demo and Poster Sessions will feature research presentations by researchers and graduate students from the National Institute of Informatics.
The National Institute of Informatics (NII) conducts a wide range of cutting-edge
informatics research and provides a platform for universities and research institutions
to utilize its networks and databases.
At the Open House, visitors can engage directly with researchers during demonstration
and poster sessions to learn about the latest research results. Additionally, there will
be lectures and seminars on the latest informatics research, as well as a hands-on
corner for interactive experiences.

Please present your smartphone or a printed copy of your membership QR code at the reception desk on the 1st floor of the building.
No ticket is required. To watch a program via online, please visit the program page of
your choice from the online broadcast page. On the day of the event, simply access and
play the program at the scheduled time.
